Spectacular Lumen Type
by Ruslan Khasanov from Ekaterinburg, Russia. This type is so awesome. For the installation he used glasses and lenses to get a certain light effect. Combining these effects it shows a letter. See the whole alphabet in the video above.

ANEURYSM AWARENESS SAVES LIVES!
Anyway, uh, here’s my business card. It was done in like 5 minutes, so feel free to give some feedback on what I should change or suggestions on something. 8’D And I blurred off my name and info because. I’ll probably change my logo to have more typography stuff rather than my little chibi thing, since I’m told it doesn’t look professional. B| Or not. I dunno. Maybe I’ll just shape it up or just change it completely.
So far what I’m changing is the hierarchy, I believe my name should be pretty big and noticeable first along with Graphic Designer type. I dunno if I should leave the “illustrator” thing there… I mean, I love drawing, I’ve sold drawings before in conventions and art stuff, sooo… I guess I’ll leave it. I can draw.
And since these were free samples, they have the moo.com thing on the side.

Focus: Art Direction, Branding, Editorial, Web
Hi there, my name is Scott Williamson. I believe strongly in the expressive power of design. As a result of this, I am acutely aware of and sensitive to what feeling my design exudes, and what it can potentially mean to those who view it. However, I do realize that meaning is fluid; it changes constantly over time, and is different depending on who you ask. There is no sacred “solution” to any design “problem” because of this. Because I cannot hope for absolute understanding, what I hope for with each and every one of my designs is that viewers have some type of emotional response to it; even a subconscious one. Emotion is how you invoke reaction, and ultimately, stimulate the imagination. Emotion is the only absolute truth we can ever define, even if it is merely ephemeral. And even if they don’t “understand” it (whatever that means), as long as they are prompted to take action and move forward, I know that my design has been successful. So to me, indifference is the enemy. Action is the goal.
